This group provides recommendations on prescribing issues on areas not covered by NICE technical appraisals (TAs) or to supplement NICE guidance.

They are recommendations and do not have the mandate of NICE technical appraisals. They may however be adopted by the health economy instead of any other clinical guidelines, including those of NICE.
