The Health Protection Agency (HPA) updated its guidance on the Management of Infection in Primary Care for local adaptation in July 2010.          

The antimicrobial guidance for primary care in NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent has been reviewed in consultation with the East Kent Hospital University Trust consultant microbiologists and an update released in September 2010
