Will practices get a payment sheet with enhanced services payments?
They will have a copy of invoice submitted, and will receive a remittance advice with payment.
What does MCA and EPOA mean?
Mental Capacity Act and Enduring Power of Attorney.
Which DES's do practices have to provide?
All practices have the opportunity to provide Directed Enhanced Services (DES) but this is not a contractual requirement.

Where are the parent consent forms for HPV?
These have not changed, use as previously.

What is the PCT approved equipment for 24 hour bp Monitoring?
The specification has now been amended as there is no PCT approved equipment .

Providers must achieve 24/48 hour access target in order to provide this service. Minor amendments to reporting table.

How long is current counselling LES to continue?
This will continue for this year, until the review is complete, and Practices will be given 6 months notice.

Can the practice use the One Touch Easy Glucose Monitor for OGTT LES?

Phlebotomy - For babies and very young children it is not always possible/appropriate/safe to try to take blood, and a referral to the local paediatric ward is necessary
LES amended to include comment.
Some patients prefer to go to a secondary care phlebotomy provider as it is more convenient for them.
Patients should be offered the choice when possible.

Specialist Consultant Initiated Treatment - Is there provision in new scheme for Zoladez, Prostap etc?
Zoladex is covered under this scheme, LES is under review.
The funding schedule for the treatment room LES seems to lack detail

How do I access the training for learning disabilities?

How do I claim for learning disability LES?
Submit the LD register for verification, PCT will provide annual reporting templates.

How is minor surgery paid if part of GPWSI currently?
If a GPwSI has a contract with the PCT for minor surgery will be paid as per contract/ service agreement.

Clarify Hep A and B routine and outbreak?
Get advice from Health Protection Agency (HPA) before sign up.
Can practices claim for travel jabs e.g. Hep A, Typhoid etc.?
Outside of the Infectious Disease LES, unless advised by the Health Protection Agency (HPA).
