  • A GP in east London for 25 years and was actively involved with the local health authority as a GP adviser
  • Worked in academic general practice at St Barts
  • Head of Postgraduate Education at Centre for Health Sciences at Queen Mary University of London
  • Had more than 70 papers published
  • Currently a GP trainer
  • Helped with the development of general practice in St Petersburg, Russia since 1992.

  
First year key priorities:

  • Identifying problems with musculoskeletal services through discussions with GPs and others throughout the PCT
  • Working on ways to make the access to musculoskeletal services simpler and more efficient both for patients and for general practitioners.


How you can be involved:

  • Building links between GP and specialist colleagues
  • Working to identify representatives of PCT clusters who can act as links to their area
  • Listening to concerns about musculoskeletal services from anyone.
