• Pencester Surgery, Dover.

Interesting facts:

• Trained in New Zealand
• Joined the Royal Air Force specialising in
  aviation medicine
• Retrained as a GP partly with the RAF and partly with the NHS
• Continued scientific interests by working in the pharmaceutical industry at the Pfizer Sandwich site
• After completing a GP returner scheme accepted a partnership at Pencester Surgery in Dover.

First year key priorities:

• Identify stakeholders with a strong interest in improving the gastroenterology service and find ways to work together
• Engage primary care colleagues and solicit their opinions and input .

How you can be involved:

• Raise awareness of commissioning
• Help primary care colleagues understand how service changes can benefit them and how they can use new services appropriately.
