Get walking

HealthWalks are short, volunteer led local walks aimed at those who wish to be more active. Walks are generally between 40 to 90 minutes and leave from accessible venues such as libraries and leisure centres throughout east Kent.

There is no need to book, just turn up for a free HealthWalk. Most of the HealthWalks finish with refreshments and a chat.

Walking in a group is a great way to start walking and to stay motivated. You’ll make friends, discover new places to walk in your neighbourhood and improve your health and wellbeing at the same time.

Volunteer

We run free HealthWalk volunteer training sessions. These days are run in a relaxed and informal way and include a free lunch. They provide a great opportunity to meet other people involved with East Kent HealthWalks.
