Kent and Medway Cluster Board
The Kent and Medway PCT Cluster represents three primary care trusts – NHS West Kent, NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent and NHS Medway.
The Cluster is committed to commissioning high quality healthcare services for the people of Kent and Medway. We also support GP consortia as they prepare to take on commissioning responsibilities in the future, as well as maintaining relationships with partner organisations.
The Board comprises part time Non Executive Directors as well as full time Executive Directors, and is chaired by a Non Executive Director appointed by the NHS Independent Appointments Commission.
Board meetings are held bi-monthly and members of the public are welcome to observe meetings and ask the Board questions.
NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent Board
Each of the PCTs from the Kent and Medway Cluster also have their own Board of Directors. The Board of NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent is composed of a majority of part time Non Executive Directors, as well as full time Executive Directors. It is chaired by a Non Executive Director appointed by the NHS Independent Appointments Commission.
On 18 May 2011 the Board delegated its functions to the Kent and Medway Cluster Board. The Board will meet annually to review the Cluster Board and, additionally, hold an Annual General Meeting.
