Finance

The key responsibilities of the financial team are:

 

  • Looking after a financial allocation of over £1.1 billion
  • Making sure financial targets are achieved
  • Preparing monthly reports on expenditure on both commissioning and community services
  • Working with local GPs, through practice based commissioning, and other health and care partners to ensure that money is being spent on high quality and safe patient care
  • Ensuring the organisation gets best value for money within its financial means
  • Reviewing budgets and investment plans
  • Forward planning, together with our commissioners, to ensure the organisation remains on a secure financial footing.
